Langdon Hammer talks with poet Zaffar Kunial about the sources of his poetry, from song lyrics to family histories to his undying love for the sport of English cricket.

Langdon Hammer is the Niel Gray Jr. Professor of English at Yale and the author of James Merrill: Life and Art. He is writing a critical biography of Elizabeth Bishop.

All festival events are free and open to the public. Audience members must be vaccinated and boosted and should be prepared to show proof of vaccination. Masks will be required at most indoor events.
